Dhaka, 15 March 2017, Wednesday at 12.00 noon: A moment of silence for the people of Syria arranged by UN offices around the globe including Bangladesh. Staff members of UNIC Dhaka, UNAIDS, UN Dispensary and other support staff observed a moment silence on the occasion of six years of brutal war in Syria, with no end in sight . Our goal is taking this collective action is to give voice to those silenced by the conflict and to send a message to Member States and world leaders that we must put an end to the carnage now.
